There are lots of reasons why puppy handling training is important. Simple things like getting them to relax while you cut their nails. Or having your dog not be so scared at the vet. But one of the most important reasons is because it could one day save your dog's life. A simple skill like handling could allow you to remove a dangerous object, or allow you to be able to do first aid for your dog. In this video, Instructor Kayl McCann talks about a couple of incidents where it was very important that her dogs allowed her to assess them, and treat them when they were injured. In this video, Kayl will show you how to get your dog comfortable with having their ears looked at, and have their teeth checked. All necessary parts of routine assessment that your vet may have to do to your dog.
