How to potty train a dog.

I will show you how I potty trained my pitbull and chihuahua. You can potty train your dog or puppy with step one: remembering the 3 letters. T.P.P which stands for Treats, Praise, and Patience. Take your dog out and wait for him to potty. Once he/she does, give lots of praise and a treat. You want him to know that he gets rewarded for using the bathroom outside. Take him/her out every 2 to 3 hrs and repeat it again.

If your dog starts to show signs of wanting to go potty inside, quickly take your dog out and repeat step one by praising and giving treats after it goes potty.

If your dog goes potty in the house and you missed him/her on the act, just clean up his mess and dont say anything to him/her. They won't know why they are being scolded at so there is no point. Ignore them and dont give them any praise or treats. By doing this, you are allowing them to feel the discomfort when they potty indoors. When they potty outdoors, they get praised and treats and that is what they want.
