Dog Training | Otto | Solid K9 Training Dog training

Otto has been making great progress in his board and train. He came in with a ton of adrenaline and did not know how to relax. Even when he was in a down, he would be scanning and on alert. This has caused issues in the house for both Otto and his owners.

We have been teaching Otto how to slow his brain and focus on what he is doing and not everything else. At first, Otto was way more interested in everything else and didn't pay us much attention.

As you can see in this video, he is making progress. As Jordan engages with Rambo, she expects Otto to remain calm.

This is the first session where we practiced this so you may be able to see that Jordan is slowly dialing up on the ECollar anytime Otto perks up or pays more attention to the ball and what Rambo is doing.

We have taught Otto how to turn the pressure off. Whenever he would feel the stim before, he would jump up and this would cause him to become more anxious and adrenalized. Now he knows it means to remain calm and not worry about everything else.
