Gary Wilkes Bonking Demo

IF you have always wondered what it looks to look like to Bonk a dog, Gary Wilkes at this past weekends seminar shows you. This is a short clip of an example of doing this. Well it is a punisher and used for many different reasons. The great thing is that what it does is gets the dog get the dog to stop all the nonsense and focus on task, does it startle the dog? YES, does it scare the dog? it can and does, does it ruin the dog? NO, does it ruin the relationship between dog and owner/handler? Absolutely not? does it increase fear in the dog? NO, what it does is create better bond and relationship. Bonking is a great way to stop a dog from any nonsense as well as the thought of nonsense. Remember until you can stop the unwanted/bad behavior it is going to be challenging to train the wanted behavior, also even if you train the wanted behavior, you still need to stop the unwanted behavior. The Bonker is a cotton towel, rolled up.
