Awesome recall for Marigot off leash past several other board and train dogs. This is very difficult for dogs to do as they typically want to interact with the other dogs around them in one way or another. Marigot had a great foundation when she arrived but, struggled with advanced ECollar skills and off leash skills. She has had some serious leash reactivity towards other dogs and has a tendency of guarding her owners house. Marigot now has a solid understanding of what we are asking of her and we have developed a clear line of communication. We will be communicating everything with her through the ECollar and not relying on the leash like in the past. We are working with Marigot in different situations and especially ones that previously would set her off. She is no longer reacting to other dogs and is in the avoidance stage of her rehabilitation program. This means she is not reacting, but is not engaging them either. This is perfectly find. Ignoring other dogs is a much better alternative than reacting or starting a fight.
