A group of dogs from Qingdao City of east China's Shandong Province recently became popular icons online in China.
With commands from their owner, a man surnamed Dai, these five smart toy poodle puppies can stand on two paws, dance, shake hands with people and roll on the ground, even solve simple math problems. They can also finish these commands together at the same time.
One of the smart toy poodles named Duobi is the smartest in the group. It used to be a naughty one that embarrassed Dai for many times. However, this smartest but the naughtiest poodle also inspired Dai to train these poodles. He taught these poodles to follow commands.
At first, Duobi would not obey Dai. After Dai's patient training, Duobi gradually became adaptive to Dai's commands. Whenever Duobi succeeded in following a specific command, it would be awarded with a sausage.
Everything came to Dai after he trained the dogs and waited for the results. Now, Duobi can not only follow commands to walk, to lie down, and to salute, even to solve the simple math problems and to hold slippers in its mouth. Sometimes, when Dai lost his stuff on street, Duobi would even pick it up for him.
"The best way for dog-training is to let dogs train the human being instead of the human being training the dogs. Though it cannot speak, it will have its body language to tell you, when the dog wants to pee or poop on the ground, or turning around, or being scared. If you do not understand, as if you cannot communicate with them when you speak English to them, but they could only understand Chinese. After you clearly know about their habitus, it will be much easier to train them," said Dai.
